Dear Millard Community,

I am thrilled to be the principal of Millard Elementary!  As a long-time educator, including as an FUSD assistant principal, as an FUSD literacy coach, and twenty-five years as an elementary classroom teacher, I bring a depth of educational knowledge and experience.  As the parent of two adult daughters, I bring the experience and wisdom of raising a family, as well.

On a personal note, I live in Fremont with my husband, Pete, and our younger daughter, Kirsty, a former Millard SDC student.  Our older daughter, Kaitlyn, graduated from Washington High School several years ago and currently lives in Wyoming.  My husband and I enjoy living and working in Fremont, and we are happy to be part of our vibrant community.

I look forward to a wonderful school year.  I believe strongly in collaboration and value the opportunity to hear from all members of our Millard community.  I look forward to meeting and working with each of you, and I invite you to reach out to me if you have thoughts and ideas you would like to share.

Carri Cassidy
